A few days after Christmas it snowed and the kids were dying to go sledding so we took them up to Kiwanis park and let them have at it. They had a blast. Elizabeths friend Isabelle was able to come and that made it all the better for her. Cassius got to try out his new sled he got for Christmas and Aisake got to be his wild self in his new snow boots. Of course just 1 day of sledding on Christmas break isn't enough so Tua took them again a few days later but this time to "the bowl" at Rock Canyon. A huge difference apparently. Bigger, faster and much more emergency room worthy. Within the first 5 min. Isabelle ran into a picnic table head on, Elizabeth did the same thing not to much later and Aisake went off of every jump he could find and ended up with a scratched black eye by the end of the day from hitting it on the sled somehow. No ER for us but we have heard the stories and that is why i prefer to stick to Kiwanis park. And as usual must have hot chocolate afterwards to warm up the frozen littles. Needless to say sledding was a huge success, thanks mostly to good ole Dad!
here is a little video of the fun!
